The moment slithered in slowly
Hissing insanities thru the darkness
Time was bound tight, her bones broken
Mutilated beyond any linear hope
One by one the theories pelted in
Drawing blood and leeching possibilities
Abstracts hurled and tossed their abuses
Arresting escape’s frail wings from taking off
Time coiled tight silent to the ages
Friends and foes, their target singled out
Madness reigned the dark hour in fangs
The sac of hypothesis waiting to spew venom
And so came the final hour of destruction
One last blow to close the kill
Sciences waited in crazed anticipation
And Void finally came down, Time’s illicit lover…
