here be monsters

The depths a soul, with anguish wraught
no man, to plumb, should venture ought;
Lest find he there, what not he sought--
but, monsters, fierce, and vainly fought.
and none, to him, did courage allot
To face such demons, dearly bought.
So leave, to madmen, madness thought
and ne'er, in madness, become ye caught.

I like the sound of this. It looks like you put lots of time into the rhyme scheme. This is a very good piece. |
