Talk of love
As though they know it
Sitting in their little room
Feeding off others
Pain and gloom
Heart shaped pens
In their hands
Writing flowery words
About the treachery of man
Songs sung loud
Sad and clear
Love abandoned
Hearts tears
Poems of despair
Hurt and woe
Hiding from the world
What do they know?

Aw, but maybe they do know. To me, poetry is the way I let the world know how I see it in my vision. Your words give thought to the ponder, but always remember, the heart is full of the wonder. Very very nice write. Thank you for sharing, P |
