So beautiful yet fragile,
So fragile yet we rarely realize.

So mean and so cruel
Yet with her we must dwell

Hurdles to get by
Mountains to patiently climb.

Happy moments to laugh or smile
Sad ones to grieve and cry
Life, life, oh life
Families and friends to cherish
In the pain of losing any, languish
Life, life, oh life
A beauty to behold
A fairy to be shared and told
Life, life, oh life,
Sometimes she frowns and other times she smiles,
Sometimes arrogant and other times polite
Life, life, oh beautiful life,
Let me lay in the beauty of your flowered fields
And listen to the soothing music and maybe learn to sing
