MY GIFT

Contributed by thehotshotpoet on Wednesday, 8th May 2013 @ 08:31:34 PM in AEST
Topic: InspirationalPoems

I do not have a doubt
that everything in me
it is my greatest gift
he is my destiny

this precious little boy
that I wrap my life around
he is all that consumes me
my every up & down

he pulls me from the ashes
when my life has gone astray
he brings me from the darkness
& helps me find my way

my every inspiration
in every thing I do
he holds the only part of life
for me that is so true

a precious part of life for me
my precious little boy
theres no noubt he's an andrews
his name is Austin Roy

Aww they are a gift given to us for a little while before we see them fly, through your writing I can feel the total devotion needed to enable this to happen.

It just goes to prove that the purest things are usually the ones that make us most happy.
Gifts like these are life's true riches.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
