Bitter Melodies

Contributed by ScribereHabeo on Monday, 6th May 2013 @ 05:23:05 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

Fighting had ruined our past
Left a grey clouded area cast
Scars pattern our mind
Left for us later to open up or find
I cant tell you how much you mean to me
I can feel what it means to be
It is still bitter where we fought before
I cant feel anything anymore
Dwelling on the present makes me sick
I dont want the past to stick
We used to be better than ever
We used to see problems and say whatever
Now I sense the tension
Now problems require attention
I am lost between the broken songs
I am lost for words at my wrongs

I am lost between these bitter melodies.....

I really felt this one. Short but you said so much. Its almost better short because its easier to focus on what you did say. I feel anyone who has been in a legit relationship will be able to internalize this :) good write.

Very nice work. Lots of good imagery. I notice you like rhyming couplets. They make for an easy read.
