This anger is so new to me,
And these tears they won´t set it free,
I can´t jell,
What use would it be?
If I scream,
You´ll scream ad me,
I love you,
That´s why it hurts,
I hear you,
But it kicks me to the dirt,
When you belittle my already fragile mind,
When you make me feel like what I did was a crime,
And my anger drowns in my sinful tears,
Rebirthing my silly and uncontrollable fears,
I keep my screams on the inside,
As they slowly eat me alive.

Writing is a good way to deal with anger. On that subject i wrote a poem on a similar subject called "Foolish Heart" a few years ago and it helped me with the negative self talk I deal with when I am angry. These are the first 4 lines;
"Foolish heart
you are broken down
like a wall
to a captive city"
I like your poem because it shows the struggle with emotion well. |
