Running

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

I am running
and I am hiding
trying to get away
but everytime I think I am gone
I get pulled back once again,
Love lies bleeding
driving me insane
and what I am needing
is a release from all this pain.

Although I know better
I just don't understand
how can I still be in love with her
after she left me a broken man,
Emotional torture
is her only game
she don't need me
but she won't let me get away.

I just keep running
yesterday I almost escaped
I thought I found my island paradise
but somehow she found me
and once again I must play the game,
no one can help me
I just can't get away
and I starting to think
that
I am addicted to the pain.
