Close to a teenager's heart
From the start
The best gift to get
Games and *****
They use it everyday
Big bills to pay
Small but useful
Even at school
But when they can't find it they feel alone
They reach into their pockets and say "Oh ***** where is my phone?"

A new invention meets a new convention and you scratch your head because still not enough is being said, in fact not fiction. It is a strange world different than when I was that age or maybe not... hey, it's not just the teens.
Nice lyrical truth. My own teenage son seems so lost without his cell phone or laptop.
Thanks!
Peace! |

We are so dependent on technology these days and this is a great example of it. I love technology as much as the next person, but I feel like technology has set us back in a lot of ways, as well.
Great writing that reveals a great truth. |
