A Trip to Heaven

Contributed by Soulhacker on Tuesday, 23rd April 2013 @ 10:55:05 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Somewhere In the dark corner of my world, I lit up a candle

For a brief period of time I was able to see again, pieces of my dreams sobbing drenched in rain!!

When the last time I saw him he was happy without hint of pain, what went wrong why everything changed?

I decided to ask him the same, was about to shout but I was not able to recollect his name what a shame!!

When the flame danced with the wind, my sight drifted from him to spot myself standing on the brim

Trying to remould my already broken soul, in hope to fix stitching the big black hole

Murmuring a name, whipping tears, telling a story about how he lost control

I thought I should console, moved forward to find he was playing a mirror role!!

Disgusted, I turned back and a melodious voice caught my attention

It was soft, sweet like a mermaid’s song; I swam across to find myself in a different dimension

The place was bright, calm, and filled with a familiar scent, following the gold staircase I ascent

On the door I met an angel; she touched my face and asked “what you repent? I never wanted you to be like this….what you have done with your present”

I tried to speak but nothing came out, it was the moment I craved for talked of and thought about

She leaned forward planted a kiss on my forehead, I felt alive after being cold and dead!!

I love you she whispered in my ears, vanished all of my pain every single tear

The light grew dim and she waived me goodbye, it was same as of 4th of July
