I think that I’ve gone crazy, mindless.
I’ve lost sight of myself, I am spineless.
I know no controls, I cannot empathize.
A soul that's long been sold and a heart desensitized.
Blood flows through me cold, my pulse mechanized.
Anger's a thousandfold and every second emphasized.

there's a lot of...Pressure...in that poem. I had to read it thrice and slow myself down, and when I did...I felt Free. not what you intended, I'm sure. so I then felt, on purpose, the calamitous silence of a mechanized heartbeat. the oppression of every emphasized second. Pressure.
