2 A.M.
I have loved and lost,
And ached inside with a cosmic emptiness.
The void between stars,
filled the space where my heart should be
I have yearned and wanted,
As a child that found rape in his parents arms
The sense of home,
Means only isolation and loneliness to me.
I have hoped and struggled,
Ive won the things I thought I needed,
While I hid and cowered,
From the warmth Ive always craved.
I talk and heal,
Through therapy and caring friends,
I run and write,
And fight for justice that law will never give me.

not just a disclosure of event and aftermath, but hope and mission bound in lyrical form. It resonates.

Yeah, sometimes it's way to late to have justice. You have to find a way to get past it, though others have faced it as well... Your write speaks of feeling weak while reaching for strength.
Good things there. Blessings, SF |
