The lustrous moonbeams through my window shine
Pale light along the soft curves of your body line,
Dancing with the rhythm of the swaying trees between,
I feel faint under the spell of a beauty so divine;
While I dream awake, you in my bed,
Not daring to open my eyes lest all the magic is fled.
And charmed from my dreams, you in my arms,
Your naked flesh upon mine so warm,
A bird flies down on the fertile branch of a tree
and begins to sing a melody,
As if to signal the start of something sweet;
Bodies entwined in irreversible passion, to make
Love in such a fashion,
that the oceans roll and the sense of time comes crashing
Down; as though a rosebud were to in a heartbeat come
On the verge of fully opening its beauty for the world to see,
And in this climax of tasting blossom,
Stay there for an eternity.
Wet lips at work on hidden desires,
While the lusty moonlight shines bright the nightly fires;
And the song bird sings a melody,
High on the ecstasy of this physical symphony.
