You people want to know me
for who I really am
What you read is what you'd see
a suicidal man
Wishing thoughts would leave me be
so I could live again
To live like you and live life free
like any other man
You people really want to know
at least thats what you said
I'll give it up just to show
theres voices in my head
I can tell you that you know
they're saying I am dead
But for some strange reason I can't go
I'm living life instead
I know that you all think thats best
but you dont feel this way
I wish that I was like the rest
that the thoughts would go away
But I think I must confess
that they are here to stay
I now know that I'm not blessed
I'll never be OK
I wish that all of you could feel
the same way that I do
And then you'd know that I'm for real
I'm not like any of you
But I'm glad that you can't feel
the same way that I do
Because if you did you'd never heal
the thoughts would just kill you

Such a heart-felt poem. I have felt this way. I did for nearly 2 years but I get better. I truly hope that you do too. If you ever need to talk - PM me.

Let's look at this both ways............
If you carry on and it gets better, great! A good decision.
If you carry on and it gets worse, you commit suicide! A good decision
Either way things get better |

You are so talented..and if you did die..it'd be depriving the world of a great poet.
And believe it or not...People do know how you feel. Me being one of them. 4 yrs and things aren't looking up. But I have my poetry and I hope you have something that makes life just a little exciting |
