Never Enough

Contributed by drummerchic18 on Sunday, 7th April 2013 @ 10:34:41 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

you kill me

you destroy me

you love you

you fill me

you ignite me and light the blaze

you burn me to my inner strength

I give what I have

and its never enough

I can't slay myself anymore for the cause of your injustice

i give my blood

I give my self, my being, my eternal soul

You desire much more than what I can give

Never Enough to what I can share

I cried blood droplets

The tears mixed with the sweat on my face

It falls to the ground

A puddle is formed of my innerness

I never need to scream

I cry for the world

I cry for the love of another in just form

To receive what I have given

For love to be returned to me as I have given it freely

I long for you

I wish you to come back to me

I wish that you bring you kiss upon me

Kiss me

Kill me

Hold me

Cut me

Love me

Rape me

Save me

Condemn me

To the abyss I go quietly

I say Goodbye to my saddened eyes

I breathe in the contaminated air

And rest in my despair

Wow.... this was emotional. Funny, I have the opposite feeling - want to give too much. Ah well, that goes along with life I suppose. Still, condemnation is not something to accept from love - since everything is either love or a call for more love (course in miracles). Blessings, SF

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
