I am the conductor
Come and take my hand
Let me take you on a journey
A transition I demand
Ride along and think about the problems which you face
This train will stop for no one
The trip we cannot trace
Throw the window open
Keep your bags and stay
Keep your ticket, paid for one
The stations far away
You see the cloudy sky converge
The rain beats a tantrum on your thought
The wheels turn, you feel the surge
No more tickets can be bought
The passing winds which cool your brow
Let your mind relax with ease
A calm has come
You don't know how
We tarry on
We leave the breeze
Listen to me, you must unwind
Ahead of us the tracks will snake
Grey skies clear as the engines grind
Wanting, waiting, for you to break
Do not despair, for I do care
The conductor will take care of you
He sets the coal and checks your soul
He hits the whistle
Enjoy the view
So lighten up there's still time yet
Lost in thought
But I'll bet
There's oddity in application
If you look close at that silhouette
Can't you see our true location
Sweep aside your sweat
Lay beside your aberration
And do not be upset
We have yet to leave this station
We've gone nowhere yet
