I remember everything

Topic: drugabuse

i wish i was a blank face in a crowd of people
no one would notice me, no one would stare
its not that i really care
i just wanna get out of here, the world is messed up
n only a few can see
i dont know if id call this poetry
jus words from my heart on this paper it bleeds
only a few understand
that needle ran deep in my viens
that beautiful sting
i wish i cud earase it away
but i remember every ***** thing
n now its catchin up with me
the memories of it all consume me daily
not many people will ever know my pain
iv tried to make it go away
but i feel it everday
its imprinted in my brain
like a loving couples wedding ring
i wish i could go away to a place
where theres no pain or rain no hate or fayt
jus a place where i can lay in the sun
n forget about everything
maybe death is the only way out of this
only some know but its too late to ask
if they dont have to feel anymore?
if they dont have to cry?
or if there empty inside and weightless?
i wonder if they have inner peace
iv tried to find it numerous times
since i was thirteen when i was a lost boy
a vitcim of tradegy n some can live with it
but i havnt found any way to deal with it
a twenty year old man im lost in my ways
not comfortable in my own skin
feels like time is wearing thin
dont know how long ill live
dont know if the lord will forgive me for my sins

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
