From the windows I gaze through
People seem to move slowly
floating from place to place
no rhyme or purpose.
I am contented in these
fleeting moments
smiling for no reason.
The air hits my lungs,
and I speak without thinking.
Time sometimes
ceases to pass
and I ponder forever
questions with no answers
Impossible to grasp.
I am conscious of my own being.
What a perplexing impossibility.
Do they see me?
wondering as deeply?
Our realm of existence
exploded in an instant.
Or do you see me?
as I am, a part of you...
I feel your presence at once
and I forget all ill will
toward the brother beside
and in this moment
I am happy
and these questions seem
resolved inside me.
I am awake.....
Why are these people moving so fast?
