You tell me I'm weird, and you like it
I tell you there doesn't have to be a place to fit
Fitting in is like giving in
And when you give in, you may never win
I'm not calling you blank
But let me be frank
You all look and act the same
You call it playing the game
Its horrible to watch you be assimilated
To be default like the ones you're affiliated
I want to reach out to you, grab my hand
I can tell your sanity is only held by a strand
That's okay with me
Be what ever you want to be
Its better to be an individual
Its better to be free.....

Fitting in is like giving in.......I like that line alot.
Individuality is for the long haul it often doesnt pay dividends in the short term but when you look back it was the only way forward.I hear
your voice and this world needs to hear it too. |

| I think this poem is great. I love the metaphors use while using excellent rhymes. The message and the way it was written was the best. I never tried to be anybody but myself; never putting on an act to please other people, and everybody who knows the real “Micheal” respects him, and if not, so be it. |
