I look at you everday from a distance
I see that light that shines around you
I can tell you're a really good person,
just by the things you say,
and by the way I've seen you act
I don't even know you, but I love you
I see you talking with everyone
'Cause it seems everyones your friend
Woops I lied, everyone but me
But I had my chance to be a friend with you
The door was open, I just didn't walk through
And I don't even know you, but I love you
I've tried to make conversation with you
But all the words I want to say,
suddenly leave my mind
And I'm left standing there looking like a fool
But oh well, that's how my lifes always gone
I don't even know you, but I love you
I'm not sure what it is that makes me love you
It's just impossible to explain
But there's just something about you
And I'd love to get to talking to you just one time
And show you there's more to me than that quiet side
And I don't even know, but I love you

In looking back on life the things we will regret the most are the things we've never done.
This poem describes beautifully a place I've found my self in as well and know the indecision and inability that dwells within at this time.
Nice write, I felt each and every line. |
