Peace of war

I’m not from the country that is going to war
Neither am I from the country that tries to save its turf
But if you get a say in this then so do I
And I just know that I will never support this fight
As normal as it is to have different believes
To disagree, argue and to act bitter and have diverse perceives
I do not see any explanation
To hurting innocent people like you do in this situation
Tell me where did you earn the rights
To determine the future of those children’s lives?!
Do you deem their growing up unworthy?
You accept the blood, the pain, not having a parent to make them cozy?
Can your wide imagination
Comprehend a situation
Where each step you take might kill you
And each breath can be the last that fills you?
Of course you have your reasons
That’s all that I can you hear you brag about
“They threaten our peace! The safety of our kids!
“It is our right to go fight!”
How could you be so selfish as to ignore the facts
To forget the little truths
And stab your brother’s backs?!
You sicken me with your inequality and lack of justice
I would be ashamed to claim this is “reality and practice”
You only stand for your wallet and your reputation
Maybe you should be more concerned about your own salvation!

I like the strength of your poem, and the way you express yourself. You paint a strong picture and still manages to make your poem beautiful and well written.
Very nice. |
