Take Me Away

Run my fingers through my hair
Close my eyes
Head in hands
Take me away.

I’m falling, catch me.
Only an echo replies.
Like a stone dropped in a well
Heard but forgotten.

What happened?
My eyes are red,
My skin, my life
Pale.

Rambling away
It changes nothing.
My heart stiffens
My nerves shredded

Loneliness replaces emptiness.

'Like a stone dropped in a well........ that endless silence....... the poetic heart unfortunately sings most beautifully from the toughest times.'Heard but forgotten, melancholy,heartfelt expression and words that should be heard in a song of lament. Keep singing!
