Dreams of Faith

No other dreams are as sweet as these.
the ones of her and me
Her beautiful face hiding behind the branches,
branches being the arms holding her from me
keeping me from being hers, and her mine
but when those branches are stripped away, all is there to find.
King and Queens must envy us
the value of understanding
between two people such as us
together we stay standing
no one able to knock us down
as they had before
the other is there to catch us
before we hit the floor.
My dreams of her should never end
even though they do
leaving me alone to contemplate
gazing at the morning dew
for as the sun sets, it must rise.
But knowing it will set again is all I need
because I know again it'll be,
just about her and me.
