Butterflies wings beat softly still
Gainst moonlit incandescent sky.
Drops of blood from tender wings
Uplifted breath of mortal sigh.
Recepticles fallow seek to accept,
Their gift of silent night.
As mangers in a nativity scene,
Behold unnatural sight!
A Dance of death,a proclamation!
A voiceless freedom song.
As phoenix Wings from Ash arise
And right is born of wrong.
Disguise a mask of Nature’s intent,
Conceals the scales of truth.
The thirst of Mother Nature quenched
And justice stands aloof.
Butterflies wings beat softly still
Gainst moonlit incandescent sky.
Answers locked in heaven’s vault.
Torment the souls' eternal cry!

My personal favorite stanza:
A Dance of death,a proclamation!
A voiceless freedom song.
As phoenix Wings from Ash arise
And right is born of wrong.
"A voiceless freedom song" (such a great way to describe death). "And right is born of wrong." - I always wonder... without wrong... would there even be a right. So it seems to me that right... is always born of wrong. |
