Journeys up the ladder of my time.
Wrungs of gentle fiber I must climb.
If I fear the stride of step how far I go
It is certain all who witness must now know.
That I trouble with the ladder of my life.
Many travellers put their foot upon this wrung,
ascended troubled road on which it hung.
Still they headed up the road it rest upon,
made the journey and moved spirit into strong.
Still I trouble with the ladder of my life.
Shall I fear the steps I raise to as I climb?
Shall I worry about moments with no time?
Will I travel up the wrungs that bare my destiny?
Or be free to travel up forever free?
No more troubled by the ladder of my life.
