serious return to loving the words

Contributed by needledancing on Tuesday, 12th March 2013 @ 07:09:13 PM in AEST
Topic: poets

The words have been trapped within my soul, tripping my passage home.
No longer the wanderer flailing about,I'm back mind and soul, shall not roam.
An absence where faith lost its fire and its burn for the part of me, most wanting to be.
The fire now unleashed and grinding within shall be new creation to see.

I know not this muse that has tapped at my soul, returned me to do what I trust.
Yet surrendered my being to all that it asked , forward travel now is its must.
Like a friend who is lost in a mystical forest, the daylight breaks though all the trees,
I drop like a monk with a forgotten prayer, falling in its light on my knees.

I rush into arms and I weep tears of joy, as I run into arms of my friends,
For the time and the place of a poets true heart has no bounds..and time can not end.

Hello by fellow Poets how I have missed you so.Hugs Needledancing.

Welcome back. Four years is a long time. Glad to see your muse & you back.

Oh, and yes, I like the poem.

Hi,

It seems that you have been absent much too
long for your many admirers on YPDC.
If this poem is a taste of things to come then
I look forward to reading more.

in the soul.'' (Matthew Arnold)

Hmmm.... So it's more than just MY muse that is waking! I see evidence everywhere of the creative force waking - so glad yours is too! A beautiful peace of work this is! Hope to see more. Hugs! Blessings, SF
