Transience, thy name is Fox,
Unknown the location of thy dwelling fen,
Skirting the sun and betraying the clocks,
Appear in my sight to leave once again.
Lean as a blade coated with downy rich,
Dark eyes of the ocean’s deep,
Head of a sword and speed of a twitch,
Never one hen to hold in thy keep.
Mystery clouds thy artful grin,
Alone in the knowledge of thy call,
Down on thy knees! Please relish my sin!
Revealing everything but nothing at all.
My song for your ears, frailty thy brawn,
The calls of love shall not withstand strain.
But thine eyes spring open at freshness of dawn
And a figment of spirit is all you remain
