Suffer Thine Kindness

My daily portion hath I swallowed
A sweet lozenge that depleteth bitterly
Whether tis by unruly enzymes or no
I lay poisoned, gasping for explanation
Internal serum redeemeth me
As detox occurreth in mine heart
Thy smile wast verily expressed
That laugh commenced in the genuine
Wherefore hath I obtained the contrary
The mind overshadoweth present reasoning
Issuing images of the past
Such disorder hath I battled
Victorious am I after a fall
Tis why I suffer thine kindness
Lacking sight yet believing
For the wrongs to be made right
