SCOPE OF PREDICTION

Sun going down,
Lots of prey around,
Im a predator on sundown,
Scope of prediction,
Seeing my prey
In the distance,
My scope our eyes meet,
My prey stands there
In ignorance,
Sence of guilt briefly
Flows through my mind,
Take a deep breath,
Squeeze the trigger,
Explosion proceeds,
My prey looks at me,
Knowing its prediction,
Life flows away,
From it's eye's,
It falls in a second,
It's my affliction,
I prey on the innocence,
Sunset is their prediction,
Scope of prediction.

i'm going to assume that the 'scope' is the sight on your gun, you predict you will kill an innocent animal and you do, i find it interesting you refer to your prey as 'ignorant'- why? are we as humans better than animals? i see you write often on hunting, i would love to see a long poem on the why of it- your personal take on it, and what you do after, do you thank them? just a thought, i hope they are not wasted and left- killed for only sport, blessings,
hugs n' love nessa |
