obsession
|
Cutting isn't a need,
It's a fixation.
To put it more simply,
It's a straight out obsession.
The way the blade feels,
The way my heart pounds.
It's revolting, but still,
The way it calms me down...
I want the scars it leaves,
My memories on the surface.
But they all say it's wrong,
That it has no purpose.
They don't know the truth,
They'd never understand.
Why do they reach out to me?
Why try and take my hand?
They claim they want to help,
That they're gonna fix me.
But who said I'm broken?
Who said I need fixing?

Wow. This gets deep. I am sure it will help some understand how some might feel. Good job. |
