You’re my denial
You’re the lump in my throat
You’re the reason I can’t sleep
I try to search my mind for a peaceful thought for some rest
But I only seem to find myself back in your grip
I feel like you’re laughing at me

Tossing and turning
You won’t let me breathe
I can’t sleep
You have pinned me to the ground
My peace is in your hands

When I feel the urge to cry
You hold back just enough
So I can’t cry myself to sleep
You have poisoned me
You’re torturing me

What now?

Tossing and turning
This is my demon
An insomniac
I’m just maniac
