Your Coldplay Songs

From the first time we Talked online,
it felt like we had known each other from long ago...
and as time progressed I looked up at the Clocks
around this place, and it felt like the years wouldn't go by
any faster so I could See You Soon.
The first time I heard you sing "Yellow" it sent a
Shiver down my spine, its like I was seeing Life in Technicolor.
Our journey was just beginning
A rush of blood to my head when I saw your beautiful
Green eyes for the first time.
God put a smile upon your face when you came down those stairs
and you greeted me with a warm embrace,
and as your lips touched mine its like Sparks flew all around us,
there I knew you could save me
and I knew I would never again be Lost.

Even though we both traveled back and forth,
I never thought distance was a real Warning Sign
because you were the One I Loved.
As you played your guitar on that one spring day the melody sends a Speed of Sound,
and I could sense the Trouble
your heart took once from someone else,
but I told you, " Don't let it brake your heart", for I was now the high to your Low,
I wanted to Fix You but I knew I couldn't because We Never Change.
Like Moses parted the sea,
I thought I could be The Scientist and formulate
some kind of Major Minus for it was
Us Against the World.

But it Hurts like Heaven rewinding the memories
I keep going back to Square One,
Every teardrop is like a Waterfall,
The Hardest Part for me to accept now is that someone else is In My Place...
and now as I sit here thinking about What If's
and the Paradise we couldv'e shared,
I'm listening to "X&Y",
A Message on my screen appears from you that says,
"Maybe we can reconnect when I'm 42,
you as the writer, and me the poet"...

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
