| When people speak of giving up without context, i always wonder what they are feeling at the time, and what exactly it is they feel they are giving up. Are they giving up on a goal? A lover? A past memory? It does take strength to let go of some things... if you are speaking of a relationship, which i find highly likely, then it is very possible it takes strength to give it up. Especially if it is an abusive one. However I do not think it takes strength to give up on a healthy relationship. And many people do give up on something just because they feel they are undeserving or too comfortable. Have i mentioned it depends on the context? :P have a nice day. I agree that sometimes... "giving up" is the right thing to do, and no... it is not always easy. I do not however... really consider this type of action as "giving up," but rather... as moving on. and I'm ranting... have a nice day. |
