I dream a rock -- we stood up on
The clouds far down adrift
Ambiant blends of dawn to day
Rainy mists -- washed sins away
I dream that there on Petit Jean
we sealed in kiss -- our fate--
I dream we read -- her death in song
above Petit Jean’s grave
of life unsaved we read and laughed
as life begins -- to ever last
I dream we've earned a mission now
a thousand spells in love -- to cast--
I dream we’re standing -- there atop
La roche de Petit Jean
A gradient sun the moon has found
my world for one -- in love profound
I dream my wings did carry her
to pools of love -- on Petit Jean--
