A beautiful moonlit night
Your eyes shining bright
In the twinkling of starlight.
Listen all around
Not one thing makes a sound
Except the beat of our footsteps upon the ground.
Faeries wings beat by our ear
Proof that life is near
Their presence says there's nothing to fear.
Shimmering unicorns drink from the spring
Knowing the magical happiness they bring
Is part of their life's meaning.
Fire lizards sleep in the trees
Sensing everything is at ease
And their gazer's eyes they appease.
Now I take your hand in mine
No longer do I pine
Finally, I've found my reason for this rhyme.
