Melancholy fills my heart this day!
Fighting without saying a word!
My Love and I!
Doubts and fears possess me!
Is he true? Is he false?
His words and actions they contradict!
Yet when I am near my love, he seems so sincere!
Yet when apart, the demons of doubt and fear arise!
They knaw upon my heart and soul!
They suck away my energy, my hopes, my dreams!
Where is he when I need him?!
My champion, to drive them away!
Would that he were here with me!
Making sweet assurances!
Yet behind those words dripping in honey, those eyes, that face; so sincere!
A wolf may be lurking!
A hunter!
A clever fox!
A spider seeking to ensnare its victim!
Dreams of love, dreams of happiness; vanish in an instant!
Like a pillar of smoke blown by the wind!
Like the mists that vanish in the suns bright light!
I love him, I know my love 'tis true!
But I fear his is false!
