Gradespeed knows
The bar set isn’t equal to what I’m providing,
Lifting sifting through my mind has kept me on this island,
Watching all these others succeed,
But I have what they won’t,
Conviction is what they’re giving but do I care? I don’t,
I care about the petty to distract me from the many,
Problems I have,
To face duality is a feat if any,
My ancestors work has obviously not been brought to my thought,
Because lately I’ve just been wanting to rot,
In my cot not sleeping not touching not eating just judging,
You and I and you and he,
Obsessing over just nothing,
Instead of focusing on what’s important like the parents told me,
Its incredible their capacity to incessantly scold me,
Its incredible my capacity to keep messing up!
I chronically drop the ball like my fingers were made up of butters,
What, do I have to call
This?
Need to bawl,
This,
Love for it all,
But the necessity for faux gall,
The hubris before the fall,
But I’m not even worth that,
My peers just live at the mall,
And all I do is surf that,
Web of lies look Deb I tried,
I **** and we lie,
Together no multiply,
**** another **** a hive,
I’m distracted but I1’m alive,
I’ll count to five and count the highs,
The lows and rise,
The woes of my wives,
The truth is that its hard,
To survive with this heavy bar on my thighs.

I think this is very good. Got a very smart teen son myself, smarter than he thinks. Lots to think --- strange creed, the teen is. Been there but change comes and it's tough to relate to the teen no matter how much you want to. Such is life I suppose. You're a very creative writer! |

All I will say is don't go giving up now.
Mistakes and judgements will come. Keep those feet moving forward. This poem is like a rap to me, I hope in it that, you can pass a good message to the people our peers and the generations.
Don't reduce yourself to a low level! |
