Words drip down our skin
Like bloodshed from the war we just had
I’m crying, he's smoking
We’re both dying
Silence is resonant
Like the smell before rain
Pending downpour
Raging outpour of sentences strewn together by vile intent
Rain down on me
Make me wet with your virulent tongue
