Heart and soul
Hand in hand
Together we’d walk
Through the sand
Together we’d find
That secret place
I long to feel
Its warm embrace
Together we’d walk
On red and black roses
That formed the path
Together we’ve chosen
The path to the world
Kept safe in our mind
Of love and happiness
No man could find
Love is pure
Love is grand
Together we’d walk
As I took your hand
When the day is young
And the sky turns blue
I turn to see
The image of you
When cold in the night
You kept me warm
When time brought me down
You held me in your arms
I took for granted
Everything you did
I never once thought
It would come to this
I treated you bad
Through anger and stress
I should have realized
I created a mess
Now I’m alone
But I’m not letting go
I’m sorry for everything
That I did to you
I was wrong, I was stupid
And words will never say
How much I regret it
Every single day
Together we were pure
Together we were grand
I am forever sorry
Please let me hold your hand
I will change, I would die
Start it over again
To show I can do better
Then what I have been
I just want to be the man
That you fell in love with
I just want to be the one
That you want to be with
Please take me back
And I’ll show my words true
Because all I want to do
Is show you I love you
