Now as i lay me down to sleep,
your face i hope to see,
you and me as one,my love,
how lucky i would be.
And in my dreams i hope to feel,
your hand holding mine,
your kiss so sweet,your body close,
knowing everything's just fine.
When i'll wake i'll feel the pain,
as i do troughout the day,
i hope and pray,before to long,
i'll be in your arms again.
And if all this should end tomorrow,
your memory will not fade,
for in my heart,with you i know,
a lifelong friend i've made.
