do you sometimes think of me?
and about the way we used to be,
before everything went wrong.
do you still sing our favorite song?
if you had known what was to unfold,
the thought still makes my blood run cold,
would you have done things differently?
or would you had even let it be?
the night i woke in an unfamiliar place,
didn't know anyone,not one single face!
blacked out on the road i had been found,
they asked "how long 'til it's a burial ground?"
bruises, cuts and cigarette burns,
we've both been there, we took our turns.
electroshock and guns and knives,
we hardly cared about our lives.
you've got something that's bad to the bone
and i sure as hell can hold my own!
so, do you sometimes think of me?
and about the way we used to be.
