Please help

Today is a sunshiny day
Bright and full of the joyous new yearness
Yer right, just another crappy day
Off to my momma’s to watch TV
Clean my duds for work next week
A boring weekend after the highs of New Year
First time I’ve seen mom this year

I need a new life, some excitement
Something cool to do at weekends
Somewhere to go, dander, mystery
I’m fed up with the monotony
Could you suggest a pursuit for me?

I need to expel some energy
Some frustration, I need a rush
Going to get washing done makes me yawn
And watching TV isn’t enough
I need a thrill, a jolt in the arm
But not a bungee jump, I could be harmed
Please help
