Kill off My Depression

Contributed by MogulPoet on Sunday, 6th January 2013 @ 10:49:50 PM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

I lay down
Without a sound.
Head begins to pound
As if I had just dropped to the ground.
My life is not about to rebound
I've got no way to come around.
All I've been given is the run around
There ain't no common ground,
I'm basically unsound.
My friends they just push me around
I don't understand why I stick around.
It's not like I'm worth anything to this playground,
All I tend to do is just look around.
All I hope is that I get off this ground
Instead of looking like I'm a burial mound.
My issues are way to profound!
They put me so deep into depression I've already drowned.
There's no way for me to turn around
I'm already way too deep into this hole in the ground.
All I'm waiting for is the dirt to fill around.
That way I can't hear a sound,
And I can just kill off this pound.
Then be in an eternal state of always being down.
