A Rat Did Roar

Contributed by VRR on Sunday, 30th December 2012 @ 02:58:25 AM in AEST
Topic: InspirationalPoems

No father did bring up his family without hard struggle and work.
No creature did exist without stone hard determination and instincts.
No lion is leader without beating another king.
No success did arrive without any struggler behind.
For there came a rat and that rat did roar.

No soldier became victor with a feeble hart and a vulnerable mind.
He went on hard with a stronghold of wit, courage and strength.
No thought did replace aside his patriotism.
For now he emerged king of his world, a fearless man and victor.
For there was a rat, there came a rat, and that rat did roar.

No intellectual did arrive without a battle of wits and knowledge.
No legend did walk without the effort of dazzling men,
No one became celebrated without seeing the faces of life.
For there was a rat, and that rat did roar.

We brake and move and steady ourselves
A body ready to rise up in stature.
Moving from a restricted to a free flying albatross,
For were a rat and now we shall roar.

A hard to port but seemingly firm is what this populous is.
What anticipation, need our minds do, shall exhaust the sea of exhaustion of the mind.
For now the world’s moving, a fist, a foot and a hard fixed mind stepping ahead,
For now none are a rat, nobody is puny,
For now all are celestial, a roar ready to burst!

There was a rat, the rat had arrived.
And that did change the world,
And that rat did roar,
And that rat did roar,
……………………………………………………………..

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. Β©
