Push on/The winter city
The cold quick cutting wind
Blasts and numbs the faltering souls
From damp doorways they peer out
The pace of life long passed them by
Shoes, pants and pale blue legs in skirts
leave them behind
The frozen figures featureless
In their pacelessness
Theyre forgotten and paralised
Push on.
