A wordsmith’s Thumb
A flick on the head with a wordsmith’s thumb
Is that how this all begun??
No muse to dance my pen along
The empty page sings no song
Like a snail I move along
Crack or crevasse fawn or doe the only rhyme I find is Idaho
Which brings my heart to potatoes?
Will it end with despair or with me still pulling hair?
I think its time this poem met its fate
scribbled down with my papermate
