A Feeling For Change

Today I had a feeling
like a hamster in a cage
Everyday doing the same routine
and all I do is grow in age
The same ole surroundings
no change in what I do
This life I live
probably the same from a hamsters view
Time for change
create a new routine of things to do
Stop living this boring life
get out and find something new
We hold our own destiny
controlling all that we do
Being afraid to make change
from a life that is so blue
Let today be the last day
of feeling stuck in a cage
Open up the book of life
and turn to a new page.

great write and i know how you feel, picture this if they could make a change
id love to pull the wires from the wall
did you?
just as gary numan wrote in his song called
metal
Were in the building where they make us grow
And Im frightened by the liquid engineers
Like you
My mallory heart is sure to fail
I could crawl around the floor just like Im real
Like you
The sound of metal I want to be you
I could learn to be a man
Like you
Plug me in and turn me on
Oh everything is moving
I need my treatment its tomorrow they send me
Singing I am an american
Do you?
Picture this if they could make the change
Id love to pull the wires from the wall
Did you?
And who are you and how can I try?
Here inside I like metal
In you
All I know is no one dies
Im still confusing love with need
