To my soul, a solemn vow
Break the cycle, the time is now
The gift of opinion, stop and listen
Her voice be heard, her soul will glisten
To be self and uniquely sole
If embraced, no need for a role
Bask in the divergence
Achieve human convergence
To my Daughter, a solemn vow,
I'll break the cycle, the time is now.

I'll be honest and say I probably don't completely understand this but one thing that does come to mind is that you've made the decision to really listen to your daughter. That's a nice sentiment and very respectful. The problem often with people is that they don't want to take the time to really listen as they should, with respect. Thanks,
