From his window he enjoys the view of Metropolis
From the outside it looks blindingly bright and intense
It has given him alot and satisfied every but one wish
Sitcoms, concerts, movies, fine wine and a mercedes-benz
The conditions were never mentioned, and drowned in an ocean far away
Carefree and happy he can drive while a computer counts every mile
While every website he visits creates or improves a profile
Though not one that's ever been seen by his own eyes
When he is overcome with stress he can use his blog to cry
While every letter in his post is stored in the database for future generations
Along with every google search, every email, every location, and every tweet
So lucky that he has his carefree-dom with Survivors and Big Brother on repeat
He's got access to thousands of different radio and television stations
and tens of thousand candy gum brands all equally bland
He doesn't even know he's got secret 'admirers' and massive exposure.
Cause when it comes to privacy and personal freedom there's only one brand:
Drop your pants and bend over.

DAMN!!! this write was F-ing amazing! Why you do not have no comments is a mystery to me. Is it not interesting that part of dying is being forgotten, or at least fading some, but that cannot happen anymore. Your entire existence is archived for anyone to find. I will love the day when I google myself and nothing comes up |
