A heart beat at my feet
Watching wolfishly
Through a forest of human legs

The patient pulse
I call a canine
Waiting only for the word

My blood pumps with you
When you run
My soul leaps to see you.

A three letter word
For the essence of heart
The most important word Ive learned.

Dog.

The wonderful relationship between a dog and their owner.Loyalty closeness and an ever willing companion all summed up in your poem of dedication well written.
